Martha Timberlake

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Martha D. Timberlake, 80, died unexpectedly May 24, 2011. Mrs. Timberlake was born in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls her entire life, graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School in Jan. 1949. She had worked as church secretary for Cuyahoga Falls Baptist and retired as church secretary for Goodyear Heights Presbyterian. She was an active member of Cornerstone Community Church and was past officer of the Tennant Council for Sutliff II Apartments in Cuyahoga Falls.

She is survived by her children, John (Judi) of Akron, Tom (LaQuita) of Aurora, Becky Russ) Reed of Akron and Tim (Bobbi) of Honea Path, SC; grandchildren, Lisa (Joe) Starcher, Christie (Billy) Barnett, Jon (Kim) Timberlake, Tina Scheetz and Devin and Dylan Timberlake and great-grandchildren, Sarah, Kaitlyn, Manning, Jacob, Emily, Matthew, Emily and Grace.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, May 27 in Cornerstone Community Church 5344 Fishcreek Rd. Stow, OH 44224, Pastor Dan Page officiating. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to her church. Arrangements handled by Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
