Martha M. Zvoleff (nee Schuckert), 91, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister went to be with her Father in heaven Friday September 8, 2006. Martha was born in Akron Ohio on August 28, 1915, to Adam and Christina Schuckert, the oldest of 12 children, nine brothers and two sisters. They spent most of their childhood on the farm. Martha was an accomplished cook and pastry chef, working for some of the finer restaurants in Akron. Her poppy seed and nut rolls, and strudel were family favorites. She also worked as a cook for the Akron Board of Education at Jennings and North High Schools and was previously a cook at St. Anthony's. She also catered events from time to time with some of her many friends.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Zvoleff; parents Adam and Christina Schuckert; seven of her brothers; daughter, Karen Kobbs and Karen's daughter Tammy Hoisington and is survived by her daughters, Rebecca (Bob Atkinson) Koly of Springfield Twp and Dorothy (Lannie) Moore of Arlington, TX; grandchildren, Timothy Koly of Springfield Twp, Becky Garner, Gregory Koly and Julia Harlin all of Cuyahoga Falls, Brooke Dickey of Arlington TX and Tanya Grato of Spring Valley, CA; Numerous great and great-great grandchildren: sisters Rosemary Evans of Canal Fulton and Frieda Peden of Akron; brothers, Carl Schuckert of Nevada and Walter Schuckert of Tennessee and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank all the folks at Sutliff Bldg #1 in Cuyahoga Falls for being good neighbors for the past 18 years to Martha. She and Leonard truly enjoyed their time there. Special thanks also to those who cared for Martha thru the years, her daughter, Rebecca Koly, her sisters Rosemary Evans and Frieda Peden and her niece Linda Peden.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Monday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, Pastor Ted Bartter officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
