Mary Ann Bower

Tallmadge - Mary Ann Bower, 71, went home to be with the Lord on April 13, 2022. She was born in Akron, OH on November 9, 1950, to John and Mary McKoski. She was a lifelong member of Blessed Trinity (St. Martha) Catholic Church in Akron.

Mary Ann was a caregiver and dedicated her life to taking care of her family.

She will always be remembered for her selflessness, her smile, and her love for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary McKoski; brothers, David and Richard McKoski; and her aunt, Josephine Bell.

Mary will be missed by her husband of 43 years, Larry; children, Matthew and Andrew (Kristina) Bower; her dog Auzzy, and many more family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Summit County Board of MRDD.

A visitation will be held at the Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, on Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 5pm to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday April 22, 2022, at 10:00 am at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 300 E Tallmadge Ave, Akron, OH 44310. Interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
