Mary Garner

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Mary M. Garner, 90, passed away June 3, 2015. She was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 60 years. Mary worked for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. where she met her husband, Jack, and later worked at the French Coffee Shop. She was a 55 year member of the First United Methodist Church and was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Preceded in death by her husband, Jack C.; parents, James and Hilda Burns; brothers, Donald, Wayne and Richard; she is survived by her sons, Raymond (Deborah) of Cuyahoga Falls, James of Akron and Charles (Tammy) of Cuyahoga Falls; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, James, John, Bill Burns and Helen Crawford.

Friends may call from 2-4 PM on Sunday June 7 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221, where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday June 8. Rev. David Baker will be officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221.
