CUYAHOGA FALLS - Mary Lou Miller nee Woodley passed away April 20, 2016, at the age of 88 at her home in Mentor, OH, she was born in East Cleveland, August 20, 1927, a 62 year resident of Cuyahoga Falls.
Mary graduated from Shaw High School, then attended and worked for Fenn College, CSU. Mary Lou loved lighthouses, Williamsburg and enjoyed traveling when possible. Mary Lou was an active member of First United Methodist Church, Cuyahoga Falls where she was a member of the Wesley Sunday School Class, Rebecca Circle, Quilters, and youth counselor when her children were involved in the youth fellowship and choir. Mary Lou was a member of International Sisterhood PEO Chapter CS, and a member of Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society.
Preceded in death by her husband, Richard(Dutch), sister Martha Ann Foster; she is survived by her children, Ann (David) Williams, Eden (Richard) Waiwood and Mark (Christine); 8 grandchildren Jonathan(Kristin) and Jessie Ann Williams, Daniel and Sarah Waiwood, Brooke and Zachary Miller, Audrie and Christopher Miller; 2 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted by Dr. David Baker at 11 AM Saturday May 7, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 9:30 AM. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to East Ohio Camps, c/o Camp Aldersgate Fund # 9891, 3300 Cleveland Ave NW, N Canton OH 44278.
