CUYAHOGA FALLS - Mary Anna Montana went peacefully to be with the Lord on September 1, 2009 surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with leukemia.
Mary was a woman of God and a true lady in every sense of the word. She devoted her life to her husband and children. She was one of those rare individuals who not only strived to achieve perfection in every task she undertook, but actually achieved it. She was vibrant and energetic and had a beautiful philosophy of life. She always looked for the good in everyone she encountered and had a gentle, caring demeanor that endeared her to many.
Mary was born on October 13, 1926 to Anthony and Josephine Mandala. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Cuyahoga Falls.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph, of sixty one years and her parents.
She is survived by her four children, daughters Rosemarie (Greg) Felder of Charlotte, NC and Maryann (Bill) Selers of Doylestown, PA, sons Anthony (Janet) of Stow, OH and Joe (Helen) of Uniontown, OH. She had five granddaughters, Aimee, Melissa, Christina, Rose and Erica and two great grandsons, Anthony and Guy. Mary also leaves her sister Katherine Mastrodonato, brother Anthony Mandala and brother-in-law John Picarello.

The family wants to acknowledge the loving care and support provided by Hospice of Summa and their staff.

Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Friday September 4, 2009 at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00am on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls. Private inurnment in Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, the family requests donations to Our Lady of Consolation Shrine, 315 Clay Street, Carey Ohio 43316-1498 or Hospice of Summa , 444 North Main St., PO Box 2090, Akron, OH 44398-6153 in her memory.
