CUYAHOGA FALLS - Mary Purda, 85, passed away November 30th, 2008.
Born in Akron, Mrs. Purda moved to Cuyahoga Falls in 1956. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and shopping.
Preceded in death by husband James; brother Andy, sisters Elizabeth, Helen and Margaret, granddaughter Mariann, she is survived by daughters Carolyn, and Barbara and Susan; son James A.; grandchildren Bethann, Matthew, Jamie, and Jeffery; sister Ethel; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
At her request, there will be no services. Cremation has taken place. Should you desire, memorials may be sent to the Falls Firefighters Community Benevolent Society, PO Box 189, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 in her memory.
