CUYAHOGA FALLS -Mary L. Sands, 82, died December 3, 2005.
Mary was born in Calhoun Co., West Virginia, to Cecil and Essa Anne Lamb on October 5, 1923.She was an active member of Grandview United Methodist Church and was retired from the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co. in Barberton with over 25 years service.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence W., Mary is survived by daughters Roseann (Jon) Andrus and Bonnie (Larry) Shirk; grandchildren, Michael (Beth) Andrus, Todd (Leigh) Andrus, Andy (Megan) Shirk and Scott (Alisa) Shirk; great grandchildren, Madison, Olivia, and Brooks Andrus and Sophia Shirk; sister, Grace (Howard) Bohrer; brothers, Charles, Harry Phillip (Daren), and Randy Clay (Carol); and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank Haven Homes of Stow, Gardens of Western Reserve of Cuyahoga Falls, and the staff of Akron City Hospital ICU for their loving care and support.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday in the Grandview United Methodist Church, 2315 Phelps Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44223, Rev. James MacKenzie officiating. Friends may call at the church one-hour prior to the service. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Grandview Church in her memory.
