CUYAHOGA FALLS - Mary Lucille (Plaster) Snyder, 89, of Cuyahoga Falls, met her Salvation with the Lord on August 6, 2012. Mary was born in Swords Creek, Virginia, the daughter of the late Samuel Glenn and Iona Mae (Dye) Plaster. She was affiliated with the United Presbyterian Church of Cuyahoga Falls, a former member of Firestone Golf Club, and she enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with her family. She devoted her life to being a homemaker and taking care of her family.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Snyder; daughter, Janice Calcamp; brother, Edward Plaster; great grandson in infancy, Baby Angel; her daughter in law, Peggy Snyder, and son in law, George Sullivan.

Mary is survived by her children, Glenn (Barb) Snyder, Mary Carole Sullivan, and Lee (Amy) Snyder; son in law, Mike Calcamp; grandchildren, Steve Sullivan, Kelly (Bill) Reed, Teresa (Michael) Roush, Kim Freeman, Tracie (Jerry) D'Antonio, and Matthew (Sara), Joseph (Irene), and Timothy Snyder; great grandchildren, Zachary Freeman, Ryan, Alyx, Emily, Addisyn, Mason, and Maddox Snyder, Andrew Reed, Caroline, Hannah, and Clara Roush, and sisters in law, Eileen Lind, Eva Stidham, and Betty Plaster.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Friends may also call from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at the United Presbyterian Church, 2819 Hudson Dr., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Pastor Ross Slaughter, and Pastor Adam Marquette will officiate and burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, Memorials may be made to the United Presbyterian Church. The family would also like to thank the staff of Vitas Hospice for their excellent care and compassion.
