"Together Again"

CUYAHOGA FALLS – Mary Lou Hankins, 90, passed away July 8, 2018. She was born in Shelby, OH on July 13, 1927 and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 68 years. Mary Lou was the life of the party always making everyone laugh with her zest for life.

Preceded in death by her parents, Nolan and Rhoda Miller; husband, James; brother, George Miles (Marylin) Miller; grandson, Michael Spiegle and great-granddaughter, Brittany; her beloved aunts, Dorothy and Mary, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Pete and Fritz Whittington; cousin, Bob Thomas; and best friend, Margaret Parke; she is survived by her children, Susan (David) Workman, Edward John Hankins and Stephen James (Laura) Hankins; cousin, David Willis;  8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and her beloved cat, Mitzy Lou.

The family would like to express special thanks for the medical and spiritual guidance of the staff of Harbor Light Hospice.

Memorial calling will be held 2 hours prior to a 12-noon memorial service on Saturday July 14, 2018 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society 525 North Broad St. Canfield, OH 44406.
