Maude Falor-Huwig

POWELL Maude Ellen Falor-Huwig, 96, passed away April 16, 2014. She was born in Akron and resided in Powell, OH. Mrs. Falor-Huwig, a former "Miss North Akron", graduated from North High School. After her marriage she went on to work for the Howell Viggers Corp. and Geneva-Chervenic Realty. She was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls Women's Club, the AARP and enjoyed golfing.

Preceded in death by husbands, Robert C. Falor and Edward Huwig; siblings, George Albert Tarr and Helen Dolan. She is survived by her children, Barbara Adler of Atlanta, GA. and John (Jean) Falor of Columbus; grandchildren, Gina P. (Wayne) Elowe, Elizabeth Ellen (James) Taylor and Jason Falor; great-grandchildren, Grace, Brooke, Alex, James, and Grey; sister, Mary Lou Thomas. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Friends may call from 6-8 pm on Monday April 21 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221, where a celebration of her life will be held at 11 am on Tuesday April 22. Rev. Dr. Kevin Maney will be officiating. Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to Abdington of Powell, 3971 Bradford Ct., Powell, OH 43065.
