Maurine "Reenie" Griggs

CUYAHOGA FALLS-Maurine Griggs, 92, died April 2, 2018.

Maurine was born in Murray, Ky., and lived in Cuyahoga Falls most of her life. She was a member of Broadman Baptist Church. She enjoyed her time as a lunch room monitor at Newberry School for many years. Her legacy was the love, caring, and support she gave her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her friends and spending time on her porch, shopping, and going to lunch. She always had a smile for everyone. She was loved by many and will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband R.C. Griggs; survived by her children Vickie (Charlie) Rice and Rick (Pasqualina) Griggs; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters Shirley (Gerald) Coles and Marjorie Tripp.

Visitation will be held 4 to 7 PM on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221.

Funeral services at 1:30 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
