Maxine Belton

Maxine Belton of Cuyahoga Falls passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 5, 2024. She was born in West Virginia but spent most of her life in Munroe Falls and Cuyahoga Falls. Maxine retired from Hanna Pharmacy as a pharmacy tech. She was a member of Eastwood Church of the Brethren, and a member of Falls Cancer Club.

Preceded in death by husband Jess Belton, Mom, Dad, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Maxine is survived by children, Patrica Griffith (Gary), Gary Bailey (Gwen), Janice Simpkins (Dave); grandchildren, Cassie, Adam, Rebekah, Kari, Anna, Sarah, Madison, Trevor and Tyler; 11 great-grandchildren; and lots of nieces and nephews.

Through the years she held your hand and helped you

As you dreamed and planned, she never failed to understand.

With a special smile that says “I care,”

Her heart is full of love to share.

Family and friends may call from 5pm to 7 pm on Tuesday, January 9, 2024  at The  Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Interment will be at Lakewood Cemetery at 10am on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at Eastwood Church of the Brethren.

In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Eastwood Church of the Brethren or The Falls Cancer Club.
