Mia White

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Mia K. White, 84, passed away November 20, 2010. She was born in Germany and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 50 years. She was a cosmetics salesperson for O'Neil's and a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. She loved cats and feeding ducks, birds and many other animals at Water Works Park, where people came to know her as the "Duck Lady".
She is survived by her children Joan (Jon) Calvin of Tallmadge and Renate (Jim) Simmons of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren Jennifer Trickett, Jason Calvin, Jessica Calvin, Richard Frantz, Amy Frantz and 18 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4-7 PM on Tuesday Nov. 23, 2010 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St,. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A Funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, Nov. 24 at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2141 5th. St., Cuyahoga Falls OH 44221. Pastor Ryan Honeycutt will be officiating. Inurnment will be at Greenlawn cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron 7996 Darrow Rd. Twinsburg, OH 44087.
