Michael Hartman

Michael R. Hartman, 64, came to his journey's end in the loving arms of his wife and son July 17, 2009. Mr. Hartman was born in Akron where he had resided his entire life. He retired in 1998 as a tire builder for B. F. Goodrich with 27 years service and served with the U. S. Army in Korea during the Vietnam War.

Preceded in death by his son, Brian, parents, Kie and Lydia Hartman and sisters, Linda Pavlik and Leeta Simich, he is survived by his wife of 31 years, Julie; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Kim of Hilliard, OH; daughter, Lea Hinkle of Wyoming; grandchildren, Reece, Andrea, Mikal, Rae Lee, and Hailey; several nieces and nephews; many good friends and lovingly the Quig.

The Family will greet friends from 1:00 to 3:00 pm Saturday, July 25 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a Memorial Service will be conducted immediately following.
