Michael Joseph Riley

Michael Joseph Riley, 40, went Home to be with the Lord on June 1, 2023.  He was a lifelong resident of Cuyahoga Falls and worked in the Asphalt industry for 25 years.  Michael loved sailing, was an accomplished musician, avid reader and outstanding cook.  While Michael never had children of his own, he had a way of making all children feel special and loved.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, John D. Riley; sister, Mary Anne Riley; and paternal grandparents, Michael and Diane Riley.

He is survived by his mother, Anne Riley (Milan Drouhard); maternal grandparents, Joan and Phil Gunter; nephew and nieces, Gavin and Gabriella Riley and Myla Stephens; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 10 am-12 pm at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.  A funeral service will begin immediately following visitation at 12 pm, also at the funeral home.  He will be laid to rest at Chestnut Hill Burial Park.
