Milla Pairan

STOW -Milla E. Pairan, 80, passed away May 20, 2006 at Stow-Glen Retirement Village. Born in Akron November 1, 1925, she graduated from Garfield High in 1943. She was president of Cuyahoga Falls Women's Club and volunteered for the PTA. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Milla worked at Firestone, Dial Personnel, Cuyahoga Falls Chamber, ARDB, Marting Realty, Century 21 and Whitehall Graphics. Mom is now in a better place after suffering with dementia for the past few years. Thank you to the staff at Stow- Glen for their wonderful care of both Mom and Dad.

She is preceded in death by husband, John of 54 years and son, John; mother, Mildred, father, Robert and brother, Fred Shepard. She is survived by her son, Robert Pairan; daughter-in-law, Susan; grandchildren, Charles and Paul; brother, Bob Shepard; granddaughter, Ginger May Buckley; great-grandchildren Morgan Ray Roberts, Taylor Douglas Roberts; grandson, John Jay Durham and wife Lisa; and great-grandson, Nolan Michael Durham and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home,1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday, Rev. Marvin Brown officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. The Family requests memorials be made to Alzheimer's Assoc., 1815 W. Market St., Suite 301, Akron, OH 44313-7067.
