MUNROE FALLS -Milton W. Lang, 82, died February 23, 2009. Mr. Lang was born in Rochester, NY and had resided in Munroe Falls for 5 years and Cuyahoga Falls since 1954, moving there from Madison, OH. He retired in 1982 as a math teacher and department head for the Cuyahoga Falls Public Schools and had previously worked in the testing lab for Eastman Kodak. He was a Veteran of WWII having served with the U. S. Navy and was a member of the American Legion Charles Faust Post 28, a graduate of Otterbein College and was called "Mustang Milt" for his love of Mustangs.
Preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, June and his step-son, Gregg Mewhinney, he is survived by his children, Gary Lang of Wilmington, NC, Amy Norris of Akron and Lisa (Jay) Forshey of Silver Lake; grandchildren, Melinda Norris and Casey and Spencer Forshey; brother, William Lang and sister Joan Osburn, both of Rochester, NY and step-children, Dr. Joyce (Mike) Eaker of Sacramento, CA, Nancy Dunderman of Cuyahoga Falls and Carolyn Pastoria of Akron and step-grandchildren, Todd, Stacy, Sean and Victoria Dunderman and 1 step-great-grandson.
There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 10:00 am Friday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, Rev. Kirk Bruce officiating. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
