Monty Burdette

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Monty Lee Burdette, 67, passed away February 10, 2009.
Mrs. Burdette was born in Akron, Ohio and resided most of her life in Cuyahoga Falls before moving to Howard, Ohio in February, 2004. She was a 1959 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, was active with her husband, Tom, in the Tiger Maws and Paws. Monty was an avid Sports Mom always there to provide batting practice for the kids and root them on during the game. Monty held various jobs but most recently worked as an Office Manager for Pella Window and Door Company and took good care of her family.

Preceded in death by her husband Tom of 44 years, she is survived by her children, Tom (Carolyn) Burdette of Cuyahoga Falls, Todd (Victoria) Burdette of Cuyahoga Falls and Matt (Kelly) Burdette of Howard, OH; grandchildren, Brittany, Scott, Brandon, Sarah, Chloe, Maddy and Tori; sister JoAnn (Don) Neill of Streetsboro; brother Tim (Anne) Williams of Munroe Falls; brothers-in-law Richard (Helen) Burdette of Kent and Mike (Sue) Burdette of Akron and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Cremation has taken place. The Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls. Memorials may be made to Falls Cancer Club, PO Box 3244, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 in her memory.
