Mrs. Bartel was born in Richmond, Virginia and had worked a teller at First Merit Bank before retiring to Florida.
Preceded in death by her husband, Charles; daughters Carol and Linda, she is survived by her, daughter, Dorothy (Gary) Orr of Cuyahoga Falls; son, Robert (Diane) Bartel of Rhode Island; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no services at her request. Final resting place Florida National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
