CUYAHOGA FALLS - Nancy Ellen Gale passed away at home on October 2, 2017 after a battle with cancer.
She was born August 16, 1946 to John Gale (deceased) and Evelyn. Nancy graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1964, from City Hospital School of Nursing and The University of Akron with her BSN. She loved her nursing career and retired from Summa City Hospital after 40 years of service. Nancy was a 50 plus year member of The First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls.
She is survived by sisters, Pat (Don) Richwine, Peggy Gale and brother, Thomas (Belle); daughters Kathleen Heydorn and Christine (Jeff) Benson; grandchildren, Mika and Kai Takahashi, John, Shelby and Lucy Benson. Her grandchildren were her heart and her life. Each was so special in their own original ways.
Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of other remembrances, please make donations to the Epworth Choir and Epworth Youth Group at the First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
