Nancy Jane (Cunningham) Miner, 64, long-time resident of Poolville, NY, passed away on December 21, 2020 in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.  Nancy was born in Norwich, NY on March 1, 1956, one of five children of Bernard and Margaret (Smith) Cunningham.  She was a graduate of Sherburne-Earlville Central School and went on to receive her Associates degree from SUNY Cobleskill.  She worked in media services at Colgate University for over 30 years before retiring and relocating to Ohio to be closer to her daughter.  While in Ohio, she was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, and prior to that, she was a dedicated member of St. Malachy’s Catholic Church in Sherburne, New York.  Nancy was an avid New York Yankees fan and weinermobile collector.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Francis James Miner in 1984.  Kenneth Roland House, her companion of many years, also precedes her in death in 2017, along with her sister, Mary Lou (Cunningham) Faulkner and sisters-in-law, Carol Cunningham, Agnes Miner, and brother-in-law, Fay Faulkner.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie (Ben) Chandler, two bonus granddaughters, Sheridon and Brianna Chandler, siblings, John Cunningham and companion Seva Dubuar of Santa Fe, NM, James Cunningham of Golden, CO, Sharon Cunningham and wife, Janet Berry of Rochester, MN, brother-in-law, Edward Miner of Orlando, FL, sister-in-law, Mary Jane Miner of Tybee Island, GA, several nieces and a nephew, and several cousins. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A private memorial service will be held at Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home, Cuyahoga Falls, OH on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.  A public Funeral Mass in New York will be announced at a later date.  She will be laid to rest with her husband at Poolville Rural Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, if desired, may be made in Nancy's honor to the Akron Zoo Animal Fund Akron Zoo Animal Fund through this link Akron Zoo Animal Fund .
