Nancy Veraar

HUDSON - Nancy Veraar, 100, passed away August 19, 2016. She was born in Dowagiac, MI and resided in North Canton before moving to Hudson, where she lived for the past 20 years. Nancy graduated from the University of Texas, going onto retire from Lake Local Schools after 30 years of teaching. She enjoyed playing bridge, reading and spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by husbands, Daniel Blue and Robert Veraar; granddaughter, Julia Lowy; brothers, Murray and Bill Gilchrist; she is survived by her children, Greg (Jan) Blue and Joan Moyer; grandchildren, Laura Blue, Barbara Blue, Dana Wallace, Ann Pohli, Jessica Savage; 6 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 30 at Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens, 5001 Everhard Rd. NW, Canton, OH 44718. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
