Nellie Brooks

Nellie Lovatt Brooks, 86, passed away August 2, 2006. Mrs. Brooks was born and raised in Longton, Staffordshire, England, had formerly resided in Cuyahoga Falls and lived in Hinckley the past 6 years. She had worked in the kitchen at Country Place Nursing Home, was a past member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls and a previous member of Britons in America.

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Alfred Lovatt and is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Bob Spirko; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Rosemary Lovatt, all of Hinckley; grandchildren, Alisha and Christian Spirko; sister, Gertie Houseman and brothers, Alan Clewlow and Howard (Doris) Clewlow, all of Longton, England; step-daughter, Pamela Brooks of Monmouthshire, Wales and many many nieces and nephews.
The Family would like to express special thanks to the staff at Hospice of Summa and Cornerstone Medical Group for their exceptional support and care and also to Dr. Teresa Koenig for all her loving care through the years.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 am Saturday. Rev.
