Nelson Peebles

Nelson R. "Bob" Peebles, 73, passed away July 30, 2011. He was born in Cuyahoga Falls and resided in Canal Fulton for the past 17 yrs. He Served 8 yrs in the U.S.A.F., prior to joining the Cuyahoga Falls Fire Dept. where he proudly worked for 34 yrs. Bob loved fishing, boating, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Survived by his wife, Debbie of 18 years; children, Michael (Debbie) Peebles, Julia (Jim) Cox, Kelly (Albert) Leiby, Robert W. Peebles; Step-children, Gregory (Shannon) Badalich, Kari (Alan) Leasure; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and special sister-in-law Dianne (Danny) Wodicka; in-laws; Richard and Barbara Parsons.

Friends may call 2 hours prior to a 1 PM memorial service Monday August 1, 2011 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Last Alarm Ceremonies will be conducted by the Cuyahoga Falls Fire Department and Rev. Bill Tompkin will be officiating. Inurnment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to Cuyahoga Falls Firefighters benevolence fund care of the Funeral Home. Arrangements handled by Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
