Nicholas Patrick Lozowy

Sagamore Hills- Nicholas Patrick Lozowy, “Nick,” 52, passed away unexpectedly on March 6, 2025. Nick is a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls HS (1990). He served six years in the US Navy Reserve as a SeaBee Builder. Nick also is a graduate of Hiram College with a BA in Business Administration. Nick spent most of his career as a business and software consultant both independently and with various firms, most recently with Terillium.

Nick was adventurous and enjoyed outdoor activities, especially kayaking, mountain biking and working around his property. Nick’s family was the cornerstone of his life and was always the first to offer a helping hand - never asking for anything in return. Whether sharing his insights or simply lending a compassionate ear, he made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Nick’s legacy of love, selflessness, and wisdom will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those he touched. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father Michael Lozowy (2016); his stepfather Thomas E. Huntsman (2003); and his uncles Paul McDonald (2022) and Mark McDonald (2018); and his cousin Kathy Martin (nee McDonald 2019).

Nicholas will be missed by his sons Jacob R. Lozowy, Parma; and Joshua P. Lozowy, Macedonia; his mother, Linda (Lozowy) Huntsman, Cuyahoga Falls; stepmother, Mary (Denny) Lozowy, Tallmadge; siblings Michael S. (Batrice) Lozowy, Abu Dhabi, UAE; Michelle (Brett) Santantonio, Westerville; Matthew R. Lozowy, Cuyahoga Falls; Deadra Wise, Randolph; Thomas Huntsman II, Randolph; and John (Kristi) Huntsman, Sacramento, CA. Nick will also be missed by his sister’s children, Hannah, Rachel, and Brevan Santantonio; his beloved Aunt Rae-Jean McDonald, Cuyahoga Falls; cousin Lexi Smith, Green; and aunts, uncles, many nieces, nephews and cousins throughout the extended family.

There will be a visitation on Saturday March 15, 2025, from 10am to noon at the Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Immediately following the visitation at noon there will be a funeral service also at the funeral home.
