Ninfa Funk

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Ninfa Julia Funk, "Eve" 89 passed away July 9, 2015. She was born in Akron , and resided in North Hill and later moved to Cuyahoga Falls. She was one of nine children and worked in the cafeteria for the Akron Public Schools retiring in 1987. She loved playing bocce ball with her friends, and working in her yard. She loved yellow roses and also loved walking.

Preceded in death by her parents Giusto and Giovania Vitrano, husband Carroll, son in law Jim Saffles, and grandchild Jennifer Eberly. She is survived by her children Sandi Saffles, Thomas (Sue) Funk, Carol (Rich) Eberly; grandchildren Keith(Amber) Saffles, Kevin Saffles, Michael (April) Eberly, Scott Funk; great grandchildren Joy Saffles, Grace Saffles, Boston Eberly, and Cooper Eberly, sister in law Pat Vitrano, brother in law Jack Depaul,sister in law Shirley Vitrano, and very special friend Harold Recco.

Cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest with her husband Carroll at Loyal Oak Cemetery.There will be no services. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
