Nora Dover

Nora L. Thomas Dover (nee Wilkinson), 93, passed away September 4, 2006. Mrs. Dover was born in Clearfield County, PA and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of her life. She had worked at Goodyear Tire and Goodrich and was an avid golfer and bowler.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Dover and Homer Thomas; son, Donald Thomas and 12 siblings and is survived by her daughters, Nancy Puleo of New Jersey and Betty Mate of Stow; grandchildren, David Herron, Lisa Garnes, William and Neal Mate, Cheryl Megenhardt, Lori Smead, and David Thomas; great-grandchildren, Kevin Mate, Melanie Smead, Elizabeth and Logan Garnes.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11 am Thursday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, Rev. Tim Bish officiating. Friends may call for one hour prior to service time. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333.
