CUYAHOGA FALLS-Norma M. Nagy, died Jan. 30th, 2014. Norma was born in Akron, Ohio on Feb. 8th, 1925, and lived in this area her entire life. Norma graduated from Kenmore High School where she enjoyed playing the sax in the school band. She worked at Rowland's Pharmacy in Akron. She proudly served as the Women's Chaplain for years with American Legion Post #209. She was extremely proud to let anyone know who asked that she was baptized, confirmed and married at St. John/St. Paul Lutheran Church in Akron. She was the #1 fan of The I Love Lucy Show!
She leaves her brother, Gene Richert of Cuyahoga Falls; son, Gary Nagy (Patti), of Manchester; daughter Patty Tisch (David ) of Cuyahoga Falls; granddaughter, Shannon Tisch, and grandson Chad Tisch.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; sister, Barbara Rowles, and sister-in-law, Dorothy Richert.
Calling hours, 1pm to 4pm Sunday, February 2, at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am, Monday, February 3, at St. John/St. Paul Lutheran Church, 282 W. Bowery St., Akron. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family wishes to especially thank the staff at The Gardens of Western Reserve in Cuyahoga Falls and Hospice (Summa) for their excellent care of their mother. In lieu of remembrances, donations can be made to St. Paul/St. John Lutheran Church (Memorial Fund). Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
