Pat Prinzo

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Pat R. Prinzo, 88, died at his residence Sept. 24, 2012. Mr. Prinzo was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls. He worked as cook, manager then supervisor for Goodyear Tire and Rubber and had previously been a shoemaker and caterer with his family. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, the Italian American Club, VFW Ralph Huff Post 1062 and the Friendship Club. He cooked for St. John's Soup Kitchen for 25 years was a Veteran of WWII having served with the U. S. Army.

Preceded in death by his parents, John and Angeline Prinzo; brothers, Eugene, Carmen and William Prinzo; sister, Lena Wethstein and daughter, Phyllis Prinzo, he is survived by his wife of 65 years, Vera (Ocker); daughters, Janice (Stew) Hudson and Arlene Jiamboi; son, Patric; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Theresa and Mary Prinzo and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 pm Thursday, Sept. 27 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday, Sept. 28 in St. John's Episcopal Church, 2220 2nd St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Rev. Deborah Rankin officiating. A Military Service will be conducted by American Legions Charles Faust Post 281. Memorials may be made to St. John's Church. Arrangements handledl by Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
