Patricia M. Gossard (Craddock), passed away on September 25, 2021 at 93. Born in Akron on August 27, 1928, she graduated from West High School in 1946 and lived most of her life in Cuyahoga Falls.
She was preceded in death by her husband Warren, daughter Tonya Danforth, and brother David Swearingen. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Dale (Kathy) Craddock of Cuyahoga Falls, Keith (Cheryl) Craddock of Windermere Florida, and Kurt (Terry) Craddock of Stow, son-in-law Chester Danforth of Munroe Falls, and her brother Daryl (Joyce) Swearingen of Indianapolis Indiana. Grandchildren Todd (Lindsay) Danforth, Megan (Andrew) Hannan (Danforth), Emily (John) Koutsoyannis (Craddock), Devon (Dylan) Thew (Craddock), Erin Craddock, Kelly (Robby) Briley (Craddock), Corie (Shaun) Incorvaia (Craddock), Colleen (Ben) Doak (Craddock); Step-Grandchildren Danielle (Nate) Daugherty (Fisher) and Eric Fisher; eleven great-grandchildren with one more on the way.
Pat worked at the JC Penney store on State Road for 27 years, retiring in 1990. She made many strong and lasting friendships through the Falls Travel Club, Silhouette Club, and Little League. She loved our family gatherings, visits and calls with her grandchildren and pictures and updates of the great grandchildren. Her family will remember her warmth and strength and will miss the cards she sent for every occasion.
The family would like to thank Dr. Bradley Crombie, and her care givers from Summa Health and Mulberry Gardens for their care and compassion.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. Funeral service will be on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11 AM. Please wear a mask to protect the younger great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org in her memory. Arrangements entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
