Paul E. Eisenzimmer, Jr. passed away June 12, 2015.
Mr. Eisenzimmer was born in Akron and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1962, Ohio State University in 1966, graduated from the University of Notre Dame with an MS in Chemistry in 1973 and his Master of Information in Library Science from Kent State University in 2002. Paul was a beloved chemistry teacher at North and Garfield high schools in the Akron Public School System. As a Children's Librarian for the Stow-Munroe Falls Library he presented fun science programs as Professor E., as well as story time for preschoolers. Paul liked to travel and married the love of his life, Kristine, in Scotland. Kris took great care of Paul with his battle with COPD. He enjoyed his Corvette and Buick Riviera and the clubs associated with his cars. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State University. Go Bucks, O H _ _!
He is survived by his wife, Kristine; stepson, Andrew of Logan, UT; stepdaughter, Heather of Dayton, OH; grandsons, Liam, Elliot, Spencer; nephews, Heath, Ian, Scott and Christopher; niece, Shannon and; sisters, Lee Anne (William) Caswell of Port Clinton and Barbara (Kim) Brothers of North Canton, and brother, Thomas (Mary) Eisenzimmer of Cincinnati.
Paul was not a Church member but lived his life by the Golden Rule and honored the Ten Commandments. Paul and his family would like to thank all his family, friends and the hospice team who saw us through his illness.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 18 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls where a Time of Remembrance will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 18 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls, Chaplain Marilyn Mihalic officiating. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to The American Lung Association, 6100 Rockside Woods Blvd, Suite 260, Independence, OH 44131 or Hospice of VNS c/o Akron General Foundation, 1 Akron General Ave. Akron, OH 44307-2463 or Stow-Munroe Falls Library, 3512 Darrow Rd, Stow, OH 44224.
