Paul III

STOW- Paul Anthony Bertsch III, 47, died unexpectedly August 10, 2016. Paul was born in Akron, raised in Cuyahoga Falls and resided in Stow. He had attended Walsh Jesuit High School before graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School (1987). He attended the University of Akron, before leaving to establish BirchTree Service of which he was the owner-operator for more than 25 years.

Paul is survived by his children, Kaleigh and Aaron; parents, Paul and Marianne Bertsch of Tallmadge; siblings, Sharon (Allan) Walstad of Johnstown, PA, Michelle (Mark) Andersen of Mooresville, NC, Gregory (Cindy) Bertsch of Park Ridge, IL and Shavonne (John) Schuman of Uniontown, OH; nieces and nephews, Nicole and Maxwell Andersen, Garrick Smedziuk, Kendall, Nathan and Ava Bertsch and Quentin, Drezdyn, Kieran and Emersyn Schuman; his ex-wife and mother of his children, Deonna. He is also survived by Alicia St. John whom he loved.

Paul loved baseball which he played as a boy and coached as a father. He was a kind, generous person who was deeply loved and will now live in the memories of his many family members and friends.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be conducted at A�A�11 AM, Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in Christ Community Chapel, 750 W. Streetsboro St., Hudson, OH 44236. Friends may call at the church one-hour prior to the service, or at the a reception at the church immediately following. In remembrance, contributions can be made toward his children's educations under Paul Bertsch at gofundme.com. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
