CUYAHOGA FALLS - Paul W. Kurth, born June 11, 1922 in Cuyahoga Falls passed away April 14, 2010.
Mr. Kurth lived most of his life in Cuyahoga Falls where he was Treasurer of Cuyahoga Falls High School Class of 1940. He served in World War II and worked for 42 years at B. F. Goodrich. He loved playing sports, especially baseball, handball, golf and fishing. He was a multi-gallon blood donor and loved animals.
Preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Mary L., parents Erich A. and Agnes L. Kurth, sister, Charlotte Grigas, grandson, Richard Paul Flindt Gibson and brother-in-law, Edward Toy, he is survived by his daughters, Mary Lu Holcomb of Cuyahoga Falls, Paula K. Kurth of Columbus, Pamela K. (Richard) Gibson of Grayson, GA and Nancy J. (John) Sherrill, of Woodleaf, NC; grandchildren, Brennan M. (Kelly) Dunn of Manchester, Amanda G. LaRizza of Grayson, GA, Emily G. (Alexander) Chen of Athens, GA, Meghan H (Taylor) Osbourne of Salisbury, NC, and Evan J. Clifton of Woodleaf, NC; nine great-grandchildren and sister Alice K. Toy of Cuyahoga Falls.
Friends may call Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls, where a Memorial Service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Dr. Richard A.
