CUYAHOGA FALLS - Paul Londa, 83, passed away October 3, 2009.
Mr. Londa was born in Pittsburgh, PA and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls since he was ten years old. He graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1944 and served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific during WWII. He owned the Chestnut Beer Garden until retiring in 1991 and was a member of the VFW Bob Appleman Post.
He is survived by the beloved mother of their children Jane Ireland Londa; children, David (Sonya) Londa of Spicewood, TX, Dr. Michelle (David Wolfe) Londa of Spicewood, TX and Nannette Londa Kazan of Cuyahoga Falls; son-in-law, Brian Kazan of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Aaron (Samantha Ross), Arielle, Allison, Justin, Julia, Ashley and Jordan; brother Bernard Londa of Fairlawn and many nieces nephews and friends.
Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls where a Memorial Service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Military Honors by American Legion Charles Faust Post 281. The family request donations to Ohio Parkinson's Foundation, Northeast Region, P.O. Box 271, Tallmadge, OH 44278-0721 in his memory.
