Paul Pannell

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Paul Benjamin Pannell, 88, Passed away Friday, August 14. He joins his beloved wife LaVonne, in Heaven. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and three of his siblings: Grace Miller, Dorothy Duffy and Owen Pannell. He is survived by one sister, Jacqueline Steele. He is also survived by his four children and their spouses: Linda (Anthony) Bologna, Larry (Donna) Pannell, Denise (Philip) Jansen, and Paulette (Harrison) Criss. His grandchildren will be missing their grandpa: Shawna (Ben) Austin, Harrison Criss, Jr., Dr. Stephanie (Dr. Nash) Moawad, Valerie Kirkland, Angie (Kirk) Robinson, Kevin Brown (fiancA�AC.e Megan Ball), and nine great-grandchildren. He also leaves many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Dad was a 1945 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, and attended The University of Akron. He was proud to have served in the Navy. He worked at Ohio Edison and the Fairlawn Engineering Department until retirement. Dad and Mom loved to travel all around the U.S., and spent may winters in Texas. Dad was an energetic and athletic man, and enjoyed swimming, volleyball, and golf among other sports. Dad's favorite pastime was reading and attending Bible Study.

We wish to thank the special caregivers in the Memory Unit of The Gardens at Western Reserve. Their attentiveness and loving care helped Dad to be happy in his last days.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday August 20 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday August 21. Dr. Richard A. Hasler officiating. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to The Memory Care Unit, The Gardens of Western Reserve, 45 Chart Rd, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
