CUYAHOGA FALLS -Pauline E. (Yanchak) Collecchi, 86, passed away August 24, 2010. Mrs. Collecchi was born in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls for 60 years. She retired in 1994 as clerk for Kauffman's and had worked for May Company and O'Neil's at the Chapel Hill Store. She had also worked for O'Neil's on Front St. in Cuyahoga Falls. She had been involved in bowling, traveling and cards with the Quirk Center.
Preceded in death by her husbands, Julius Yanchak and Roy Collecchi and daughter, Suzanne Yanchak, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Danny and Toni Yanchak of Stow; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Eric Carlson of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Adam and David Yanchak, Julie Palmer and Julie Cosner; great-grandchildren, Jenna, Katie, Logan, Erin, Ryan, Danny and Regan; sisters, Vivian Plonski of Cuyahoga Falls and Wilma Queen of Lakemore; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Kathy Ketterman of Florida and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday August 26 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 am Friday, August 27, Dr. Richard A. Hasler officiating. Interment Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 N. Main St. P.O. Box 2090 Akron, OH 44398-6153.
