Peter Green

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Peter D. Green, 63, died at his residence January 31, 2007. Mr. Green was born in Toledo, was a longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls and previously lived in Lima. He has worked as a Systems Analyst of Gosdorf Tool and Machine in Lima for 15 years and was Park Commissioner for the Johnny Apppleseed Metro Park District in Lima where he had also been a Cub Scout Leader and Eagle Scout. He was active in Pilgrim Church, was their first "ENR" and was a Vietnam Veteran serving with the U. S. Army.
Mr. Green is survived by his wife, Jo Marie; sons, Glenn of Denver, CO, Jeffrey of N. Carolina; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Travis Strausser of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Jacob, Molly, Vann and Livi; sisters, Antoinette (Peter) Bauer of New Jersey and Judy Davisson of Michigan and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday in The Pilgrim United Church of Christ 130 Broad Blvd. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Rev. Kirk Bruce officiating. Friends may call beginning at 12:00 Noon Monday at the Church. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Boy Scouts of America 1601 S. Main St. Akron, OH 44301 or the Metro Parks District of your choice.
