Phillip Glenn Kimler, 56, died unexpectedly April 16, 2007. Mr. Kimler was born in Canton, IL and had resided in Akron since 1971, moving here from Findley, OH. He was a self-employed auto mechanic and previously had worked for Klaben Dodge for 27 years. He had served with the U. S. Army in Germany.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Lee Kimler, brother, Al Kimler and sister, Marsha Miller and is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Janine and Michael Brustoski of Cuyahoga Falls; son Brian Kimler of Akron; grandchildren, Michael, Emma and Ellie Brustoski; father, Keith Kimler and mother, Doris Runion, both of Akron; sister and brother-in-law, Billie and John Shields of Sparta, IL and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, Rev. Susan Lausch officiating. Friends may call beginning at 10:00 am Friday at the Funeral Home. Final resting place Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
