CUYAHOGA FALLS - Phyllis Louise Casper, 91 passed away August 8, 2016. She was born in North Canton and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 65 years. Phyllis worked as a nursing assistant for the Summit County Health Dept. and was a member of the Bethany United Church of Christ. She was an avid quilter and loved to knit. Phyllis was always gardening and chasing away groundhogs. Her family was her pride and joy.
Preceded in death by her husband, John A.; she is survived by her children, John (Cindy), James (Debby White), Molly Ann Casper and Amy (Rhett) Quist; grandchildren, Christine (Thomas), John (Jen), Matthew, Gina (Fred), Alicia, Jennifer (Cory), Rachel and Allison; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to give special thanks to her friends and the staff at Mulberry Gardens.
Friends may call from may call from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2016 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221, and one hour prior to an 11 a.m. funeral service on Friday, August 12. Rev. Steven Welker will be officiating. Interment will be held at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
