Phyllis Leiner

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Phyllis L. Leiner, 75 passed away August 10, 2016. She was born in Barberton and grew up in Doylestown, before moving to Cuyahoga Falls. Phyllis graduated from Doylestown High School and attended University of Akron. She retired as the guidance secretary of Sill Middle School in 2004. Phyllis was a member of 1st Christian Church where she was the organist for the past 50 years and also played for the Falls Festival Chorus. She enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her husband, Donald O; sons, Jeff (Bobbi) and David; grandchildren, Geoffery, Brandon, Sheena, Jessica and Jennifer; and great-grandchildren.

Friends may call 2 hours prior to a 1:30 PM funeral service on Monday August 15, 2016 in the First Christian Church, 2253 3rd St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Interment Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the First Christian Church. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory.
