CUYAHOGA FALLS - Professor Milton Louis Kult, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away at 12:18 p.m. Monday December 16, 2013 at Summa Western Reserve Hospital, Cuyahoga Falls.

He was born April 23, 1925 in Elgin, IL, the son of Louis L. Kult and Catherine Darnell Kult. He was a professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Akron for the past 59 A½ years. He held a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
His military service was in the Army Air Corps/US Air Force from 1943 through 1953, serving in WWII. He along with members of his family contributed to a total of over 100 years of military service. He had a love of music and he supported himself with his music while attending the University of Illinois and he played with the Glenn Miller Band while serving overseas.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Ruth Elizabeth Kult, whom he married August 17, 1952 and who passed away January 16, 2013. Survivors include his three daughters, Virginia L. (and Mark) Hulsey of Alpena, MI, Elizabeth A. Kult of Merom, IN, Phyllis K. (and Jim) Weaver of Sugarcreek, OH; and 5 grandchildren, Amanda Hulsey, Andrea Hulsey, Britney (Kult) Phegley, Andre Weaver and Katarina Weaver. We honor him as a son, father, grandfather, uncle, teacher, mentor and friend.

Per his wishes, his body was cremated. A Memorial Service, hosted by the University of Akron will be held at the University of Akron on Thursday, March 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Quaker Square Inn, ballroom C, Akron, Ohio. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. In lieu of flowers, the University of Akron is establishing a Professor Milton L. Kult scholarship. Memorial donation may be made to the University of Akron. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. Messages for the family may be left at www.cliffordshoemaker.com.
