Ray Bartley

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Ray E. Bartley, 83 passed away October 1, 2009 in his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Bartley was born in Akron, and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls for 29 years. He served as a Marine in WWII and was employed as a supervisor of field service for S. D. Myers for 12 years.

Mr. Bartley was preceded in death by his wife Laura; Brother Walter Bartley and sister Betty Henry; He is survived by his Daughter Diane (Almon) Kupper of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren Kristofer (Julie) Kupper of Ellet and Tiffany Kupper (Brian Morris) of Akron; And great-grandchildren Laura, Michael, Olivia and Katie Kupper all of Ellet Brother in law Gene Jolliff of Akron and Sister in law Donna Muegge of Mogadore.

The family would like to express special thanks to the Hospice of Summa for all of their care and support.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 Sunday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am Monday, Rev. Richard Jolliff officiating. Interment Crown Hill Burial Park, a military service will be conducted by the American Legion Charles Faust Post 281. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 N. Main St., Akron, Oh 44310.
