Raymond Pietraszewski

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Raymond A. Pietraszewski, 83, died March 5, 2008. Mr. Pietraszewski was born in Bisbee, AZ where he resided most of his life and lived in Cuyahoga Falls the past 5 years. He had been an assayer for Phelps-Dodge Mining Corp for over 30 years, was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary and a Veteran of WW2 having served with the U. S. Army. He was also a member of BPOE, the American Legion Post #16 in Bisbee, AZ and the Slovenian National Benefit Society.

He is survived by his sister, Alice Yavor of Cuyahoga Falls and nieces and nephews, Bob and Charlotte Sallaz of Cuyahoga Falls, Cathy Gojkovich of NM, Debbie Rogers and Paulette Hardy both of MO and Patrick Martin of AZ.

There will be no calling hours. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:00 am Saturday in Immaculate Heart of Mary. Interment will take place on Monday in Northlawn Memorial Gardens with Military Rites by American Legion Charles Faust Post 281.
