Raymond R. Szerensci

Raymond R. Szerensci, known to many as "Bunny" and "Ski", 78, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away April 15, 2022.  Raymond was born on November 23, 1943, in Grays Landing, PA.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having honorably served as a radio repair operator.  He retired from Ford Motor Company, Walton Hills plant with 42 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Elizabeth Helt, David Szerensci and Thomas Szerensci.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marlene (Aschenbener); sons, Ronald (Rebecca) and Donald Szerensci; brother, Michael Szerensci; sisters-in-law, Ellen and Sandy; cherished grandchildren, Brittany, Mariah, Jillian and Aaron; great-grandchildren, Makenna and Brantley, and many extended family members and friends.

Per Ray’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  He will be laid to rest with military honors at 12:45 pm on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Rittman, OH 44270.  Those wishing to go in procession to the cemetery are welcome to meet at 11:30 am at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
