Reinhard Moeritz

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Reinhard "Rocky" Moeritz passed away April 15, 2011. He was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of his life. He graduated from Stow high school in 1969 and then earned a degree in aeronautics from the Pittsburg Institute of Aeronautics, before working for Bemis Packaging for 28 yrs. He enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, working on his mustang and spending time with his family, especially his new grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hans and Frances; survived by his wife, Loretta of 36 yrs; children, Briana (Brian) Haring, Racquel Moeritz and Ryan (April) Moeritz; grandsons, Nathaniel and Mark Jr.; sisters, Chris Coker, Ingrid Roark and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday, April 20 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, April 21. Evangelist Cynthia Meadows will be officiating. The services will conclude at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron 7996 Darrow Rd. Twinsburg, OH 44087.
