Renate Simmons

CUYAHOGA FALLS Renate (Frantz) Simmons (nee White), 57, passed away April 23, 2014. She was born in Wooster and was a life-long Cuyahoga Falls resident, graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1975. Renate worked in sales at Alcon Tool Co. and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her mother, Maria K. White; she is survived by her husband, Jim of 16 years; children, Richard (Julie) Frantz and Amy (Bryan) Kurtz; father, Robert (June) White; brother, Rodney White; sister, Joan (Jon) Calvin; step-children, Linda (Mike Diehl) Frantz, Scott Frantz, Jason (Rebecca) Simmons, Missy (Sam) Nixon, Abbey (Dan) King, Emily Miller; grandchildren, Hunter, Graysen, Max, Julia, Eva, Alexis, Molly, Jackson, Jameson, Ryan and Jack; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 3-7 PM on Sunday April 27, 2014 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. The funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Monday April 28 at Redeemer Lutheran Church 2141 5th St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Pastor Ryan Honeycutt will be officiating. Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society 525 North Broadway St. Canfield, OH, 44406 or Spay Neuter Ohio P.O.
