Rev. James B. Wolf

Rev. James B. Wolf, 96, passed away January 17th, 2025. He was born in Mansfield, OH to the late Clarence Franklin and Mary Rebecca Wolf. He attended North Central College in Naperville, IL where he met his wife, Mary Lee Siemsen. After graduating from Evangelical Theological Seminary, he and his wife moved to Cuyahoga Falls in 1953. Rev. Wolf served as Pastor at Grandview United Methodist Church for 38 years, retiring in 1991 and later returned as Pastor Emeritus. He was a member and past president of both the Greater Akron Model T Ford Club and the Cuyahoga Falls Kiwanis Club. He also served on the board at Flat Rock Care Center. In addition, he presented his travelogue slide shows at numerous libraries in the area.

Survived by his wife of 74 years, Mary Lee; children, Judith Ann Fulton (Dewayne), Janice Marie Wolf and John Mark Wolf; grandchildren, Christina Fulton, Amanda Fulton and Sarah Wolf.

Visitation will be held from 11-1 PM on Thursday January 23, 2024 at Grandview United Methodist Church, 2315 Phelps Ave. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 1 PM. Interment will be at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.

In lieu of other remembrances, donations may be made to Grandview United Methodist Church.
