CUYAHOGA FALLS - Rhudell O. Dresser, 84 passed away November 23, 2010.
Rhudell was born in Pittsburgh, PA and was blessed with degrees from Waynesburg College and Western Reserve University. She had a varied career as macular degeneration limited her sight. She had worked as a social worker in Latrobe, PA, Elyria, OH and Stark County, had worked for the North Branch of the Akron Public Library and taught at the Akron Blind Center. She had a passion for children, teaching and knitting prayer shawls for people in need. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Sweet Adeline's Hills and Dale Garden Club and the United Presbyterian Church of Cuyahoga Falls.
Preceded in death by her husband John "Jack", sister, Jean and brother, David, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Gail Dresser of Cuyahoga Falls and grandson Jonathan Oliver Dresser of Cuyahoga Falls and many friends.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Sunday Nov 28 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday Nov 29 in the United Presbyterian Church, 2819 Hudson Dr, Cuyahoga Falls, Rev J. Ross Slaughter officiating.
