Richard E. Geul Jr.

Cuyahoga Falls-Richard Geul, 80, passed away on August 21, 2022. Richard was a lifelong Cuyahoga Falls resident and spent 43 years working in customer service. He was a fun loving and caring person to all that he met. Richard was loved by everyone for humor and quick wittedness. He will be missed by everyone that he has come into contact with over his 80 plus years of life. He was very giving of his time, always wanting to help anyone who needed, and was a coach of young men in various sports for many years.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife Michaele, his parents Richard and Edna, his sister Sally, his brother Gary, and his best friend Jack Muelheim.

He will be missed by his brother Tom (Diane), sons Patrick (Erin), Richard and family. Many nieces, nephews, his holiday family the Braunscheidels, and all of his many friends and acquaintances.

In lieu of other remembrances, donations may be made to American Legion post 281 or Elks Lodge 1923.

There will be a visitation on Friday August 26, 2022, from 10am to 12pm at the Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation with burial at Oakwood Cemetery following the service. Celebration of life will be at a later date.
